Diversity
- Students with disabilities: 3 students have IEP's for reading. These studens will be paired with an advanced student to assist in reading activites, as well as teacher and Title I Paraprofessional.
- Different learning styles: Visual learners will be able to use the visuals found on the websites and graphic organizers to assit in learning. Auditory learners will get to discuss findings and will get to find various websites that may include audio. Kinesthetic learners will have the freedom to stand and move as they work in groups, as long as they are staying on task.
- Students without access to technology in the home: The students will have ample time to complete the project at school and will not be required to complete any of the project at home. This will be optional; however, the work is still collaborative.
- Gifted students: These students will be given the opportunity to choose their favorite dessert and do the assignment individually and have the freedom to present the project in other technical ways besides a PowerPoint.
